Our organisationMIS membership has grown significantly over the years attracting Islamic membership from all corners of our society. The organisation, through its executive body and membership is poised to attract more members by engaging more with the wider community. |
Our madrasa The weekend madrasa fro children and adolescents operates from a temporary venue currently and with an expanding demand for this service. The madrasa currently has about fifty (50) children ranging from ages three (3) to eighteen (18). |
Our communityMIS is a vibrant, supportive community. MIS continues to provide spiritual, emotional and mental health support to all of its members. ranging from adults, teenagers and children. The community spirit of members has sustained the vibrancy of the community. |

CoVID-19Support services
MIS has provided mental health support to a limited number of members who were being impacted by the lockdown.
The organisation has also organised a series of virtual programs and activities for its over fifty (50) children to minimise the negative impact of missing face to face contact they have with friends. |
MadrasaTraining teachers
MIS liaised with the more experienced teachers at madrasa to organise a training program for the young adults in madrasa to equip them to teach the toddler classes at madrasa. The five (5) newly trained teachers have now taken sole responsibility for their respective classes.
